We've spent two decades in face-to-face fundraising. We built diDo because we saw the gap between what teams need and what training delivers.
No matter where we've been, the challenges in face-to-face fundraising remain strikingly similar: programmes struggle with retention, inconsistent performance, and a lack of quality. Though for us there's one issue that stands out above all others — the lack of professional training and development specifically designed for the unique demands of our sector.
Face-to-face fundraising is unlike any other field. It's not just sales, and it's not traditional nonprofit work. It's a high-pressure, highly specialised field that requires a rare mix of interpersonal intelligence, communication skills, and the right mindsets. Yet, despite the immense resources poured into training new fundraisers, the leaders who guide them are often left without the tools they need.
We've seen this firsthand. Training can be an echo chamber, with leaders relying on practices instilled by those who came before them. External training, when it happens, is often borrowed from corporate sales or generic leadership programmes — neither of which fully address the nuances of face-to-face fundraising.
That's why we built diDo. Together, with over 20 years of combined experience, we saw an opportunity to elevate the sector by bringing modern microlearning technology to the place it's needed most — right in the hands of fundraisers, on the devices they already carry.
Our mission is to empower face-to-face fundraising programmes to achieve excellence through innovative training, delivered in bite-sized mobile modules that fit real working lives. We believe everyone deserves access to world-class training — not just those who happen to have a great coach nearby.
Our vision is a future where face-to-face fundraising is recognised as a vital, high-value profession — where people can grow, succeed, and find joy and purpose in their work. And where the platform that trains them is as modern and well-designed as the tools they use in every other part of their life.
We don't do generic corporate training. Every feature, every framework, every piece of content is designed specifically for the realities of frontline teams.
We use AI and modern technology to make training faster and better — but we never compromise on quality, ethics, or the human element of learning.
At our core, we believe in taking care of the people who take care of the mission. Better training means more confident, more capable, more fulfilled teams.
Two people who couldn't stop thinking about how to make this sector better.

Co-Founder · Senior Trainer
Jules has spent 14+ years doing this work — starting on the streets, knocking on doors, and eventually leading national programmes of 240+ fundraisers across five countries. He's worked with 25+ charities on 100+ campaigns and has seen every version of what training looks like in this sector — the good, the bad, and the non-existent.
As a certified adult educator, Jules built diDo's microlearning framework from scratch. Every module is designed the way he wishes training had been when he started — practical, engaging, and something you can actually use on the street the same day.

Co-Founder · Senior Coach
Alin's story starts with Save the Children in Romania — and from there he's never stopped pushing to make teams better. He's built an agency from the ground up, coached 50+ team members across Australia, Europe, and the US, and partnered with organisations like Concordia and SOS Children's Villages.
A certified coach with a real gift for connection, Alin believes the best fundraisers aren't born — they're coached. He turns challenges into growth, and teams that are struggling into teams that believe in themselves again.
Whether you're running a team of 10 or a programme of 500, we'd love to hear about your challenges and show you how diDo can help.
